A JOURNEY TOWARD EXCELLENCE
COURSES
Our English Language courses guarantee students to choose the right course. We evaluate each interested party on their arrival to the school and place them into classes with students of similar ability. Each students progress during the course is observed. Students study in small groups of 8 students so they will have a chance to take part in all activities.
General English courses at EPA aim to allow students to:
•improve their reading, writing, listening & speaking skills•increase their English vocabulary•gain confidence with the English language•put the knowledge they gain in class to every day use•make steady progress through each level•Teachers may set homework from time to time. Students are expected to complete all homework assignments.•Every week there is revision of the work done in the previous week. As we operate a continuous enrolment system, new students join the class all of the time. By revising functions, tenses and lexis, new students are not left behind. •We also believe that revision and reinforcement are necessary learning tools.•Terms are usually 9 weeks long. Every 9 weeks there is a Final class test based on the work that has recently been covered. This test helps students monitor their own progress. Students who pass the test may move up to the next level and will be awarded a certificate.
